HP DV6 Comforts After Tragic Toshiba Passing![]() After testing a variety of pcs, I recently acquired the HP Pavilion dv6 - 2152nr from Amazon The HP Pavilion dv6-2152nr comes with a 320 GB Hard Drive, 4 GB of DDR3 System Memory and an Intel Core i3 Processor. This gave me 100 GB more storage, twice as much Ram and a much better processor than my old Toshiba. The Intel Core i3 Processor is top of the line, and it helps to keep the laptop from overheating. Windows 7 is a nice improvement from Windows Vista, and I was able to make the transition easily and smoothly. The dv6-2152nr's 15.6" screen is a full 16:9 LED display with BrightView and HD technology. Full-screen playback of movies and TV shows is done with amazing clarity. The speakers are SRS premium sound, though they do seem a little quieter than my husband's model. HP offers Media Smart that is integrated with Rhapsody, Hulu, YouTube, and Netflix, and gives me a one-click launch of DVD's and other videos. The included remote keeps me in control of the screen even from across the room. The design of Hewlett Packard's Pavilion range has usually been great, but I find this one especially stylish. It weighs just over 6 pounds, but is surprisingly thin and also includes a 10 digit keypad for easy data entry or calculating. It comes with a built-in webcam and a digital microphone perfect for video chatting. Lightscribe technology allows you to burn labels directly onto your CD or DVD. Simply burn your CD or DVD, flip the disk over and burn your custom label. I am extremely pleased with my HP Pavilion DV6, and would definitely choose this model if I could do it again.
