Colorful Netbook? - Dell's Inspiron Mini 10 A basic configuration of this netbook comes with a 160G 2.5inch, 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, an intel atom processor and 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM. Dell boasts that the Mini 10’s spill resistant keyboard is 92% the size of a standard laptop, that's bigger than most netbooks on the market today and great news for those with fingers like pork sausages :) Dell promise that this laptop will be able to be upgraded in the future to 2GB of memory and a competitive 250GB of hard drive space. Please note that this Dell laptop does not come with a CD/DVD player, so no dvds or cds can be played while travelling with this netbook, unless you chip in for an external USB CD/DVD drive. At the time of writing the Dell Mini 10 was available for $348 in the U.S and £205 in the UK, and if you want to give a Linux operating system a shot your Mini 10 can be pre-installed with Ubuntu.
